DiskSavvy is a free analyzing tool that provides you with highly structured information about how space is being used in your system and on network discs. Once the selected drives or directories have been fully scanned, this clever tool will organize the data it has gathered in a variety of ways, always letting you decide which classification method(s) you prefer.
The program will categorize all your files and folders by size, date, type, user, extension, etc., in an amazingly short time. It also includes special filters for specific types of files, such as music, movies, and picture files, including – or not – those media files that have been labelled as “hidden” in your system. It will give you the precise amount of MB or GB each folder occupies, as well as the percentage of disk space they are using.
